Hi! Thanks for stopping by. I’m so excited you’re here.
I’m Mariah, I’m 21 as I’m writing this, but my birthday is less than a month away so we’re gonna say 22. I grew up in a small town in Central Oregon, actually, I still live here and I love it – for the most part. When people ask where I live, I tell them Bend, because nobody would know where or what my town actually is.
I grew up riding horses and ranching, I worked on a ranch most of my upbringing and trained/exercised horses. I mainly rode for leisure, but occasionally competitive sorted and team penned. One day, when I can manage to settle down, I hope to have cattle and horses and a small ranch of my own.
Second to that, I worked as a program coordinator for an after school program as well as a marketing intern for my local chamber of commerce (probably where my love for this life started)! And now I currently work a 9-5 as a manager at Home Depot and am about to hit 5 years with the company (time flies when you’re having fun I guess).
I was home schooled from 6th grade until my Senior year of high school and then went back for about 6 months and graduated early.
I’m a big soccer fan, I played in high school and was supposed to play in college, but took a blow to my knee my last high school game and have not been the same since. Fun fact, I also did NOT like college, AT ALL. I went for two trimesters and said, “I don’t think this is for me.” One day, I intend to go back just to finish my degree, but for now I’m doing just fine without it.
I do full time RV life and I think I could live in one forever truthfully. I love it.
I have a pup, Maverick who just turned 1 this past fall (2023) and he is a Husky/Border Collie mix with oh so much energy.
I travel quite a bit throughout the US on a regular basis and hope to do some international travel in 2025.
I am a BIG solo traveler, I love being on my own time frame and being alone with my thoughts. It’s the most freeing and peaceful thing I think I’ll ever do in my life. It challenges me in every way possible, but that’s what makes it so worth it.
I am an Ice Cream connoisseur, so it’s likely in just about every itinerary there will be a minimum of 1 ice cream recommendation.
I strictly listen to country music and classic rock, but can bop to some pop here and there, lol.
I got my first camera when I was 13 and fell in love, I used that thing for my little photography business until I was 18 and then I upgraded to a Canon 90D and still love that thing. My favorite thing to shoot is rock formations and senior shoots!
If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading and I hope we have something in common. If you did make it this far, comment your favorite Ice Cream Flavor!
Let’s Get Adventuring!
Mariah
